Mike Feeney in hospital

Spoke to Mike this morning and he has had a scan and they are awaiting the results.
He told me that he had been discharged from the ward and he was getting dressed when the consultants came round and overruled it and kept him in
What had happened he was walking up a steep hill to the concert and although he had stopped a couple of times on the way up when he got to the top he had excruciating pin all done one leg
He went to a center and an ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital where they thought it was caused by a blood clot restricting circulation
They decided to give him a scan as tests showed concern about his liver
He is quite relieved and pleased in a way as he says the Brighton hospital has found out more in a couple of days that the Basildon one found out in the last few years despite them doing various tests in this time

Hang tough Mr F!! Glad to hear they managed to diagnose something at last. It's a bit like troubleshooting the wiring loom, sometimes you need more than one opinion to figure out what's wrong ;)

Take good care buddy and get well very soon!!

Basildon hospital is a disgrace. They might have a few decent staff somewhere there, but on average they are awful.

Get well soon.

The only steep hill I can recall in Brighton that would inflict such a severe reaction has to be King George v Avenue on the way to the Devil's Dyke. Wonder where the Floyd were playing?
Anyway ole Mate, We will all be thinking of you.Get well soon.

Thanks for all your great emails. I'm back out now but will still be under observation for a bit.
Don't all call at once as I'm snowed under by a backlog of emails, parcel deliveries and back orders!

Good news Mike.

So attending gigs is more dangerous for your back than lifting Z parts.

The back problem was only the start of it. They identified a blood clot in a leg artery which lead to week of further investigation plus my dodgy kidney was playing up as well. Failed the MOT badly on three counts!
