Looking for an R200 diff.

Looks like I've got one from the 'bay. From a z31. Picking up Thursday, fit it over the weekend with a bit of luck.

At Derrick's yesterday I revved it out to 7500 rpm and it was still building power, so with a diff that works I should be able to get down to 13s at Santa Pod

Well my car isn't going yet, but I've had an interesting day playing with diffs.

As described here:
http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/49194-differential-cv-lsd-hp-torque-r160-r180-r200-r230-diff-mount/
The retaining pin from my spider gears had broken. It's quite surprising that such a critical thing is held in place by a tiny little roll pin. I've now replaced the pin so I could put it back together and not bother with the new diff.

I also found this, which shows you can sleeve a 12mm diff carrier to use a 10mm bolt & crownwheel:
http://forums.hybridz.org/gallery/image/12306-10-mm-bolt-12-mm-spacer-for-r200-clsd-336-ring/
which means I could fit my old crown wheel & pinion into the new diff, retaining my 3.7:1 ratio but getting the upgrade of a 4 spider/pinion differential (and I think newer bearings too).

So I think that's next Saturday sorted.
