Looking for a 240Z

Its on ebay!!. everyone can see it... today. There is no need to wait for the secret squirrels club to open the advert to everyone.

Well I didn't know that at the time of my post as I'm rarely on eBay, so as far as I'm concerned, for the most, the system still works.

Unless if course, you want to spend your time looking for all the 'members area' ads to see if they are duplicated elsewhere and post up your findings? Oh hang on, you can't see the members area ads! :p

Sorry for going O/T Dan.

Well im still searching, id prefer to buy one without a sunroof origially. Again - I really only need the shell and dash. Nothing else... Really looking like I'll be fetching one back from the states, btw I have no problems in doing that myself - my dad runs Stateside Autoparts over here and has imported a fair few cars before.

And so the search continues!

Found one in Kent but the owner is still yet to provide proof of owner ship and I think he wants a little too much for it given its condition.

Balls :(

Mmmmm could I be tempted to swap mine for the chevelle.....

Australian import 57k miles, stored as part of a 12 car collection for sometime before being brought over in 2007 - no rust - RHD!!!!!!!

The Chevelle is deffinately not for sale lol. And there is no rust on the Chevelle, every nut and bolt is new and OEM. Would fetch quite a lot in the states being an original L78 motor - most fetch $45-55k.

Right,

It looks like I've found one, all be it VERY rough and need EVERYTHING doing to it, kind of works for me as wanting to put a small block in it isn't ideal on the standard front chassis due to weight constrictions over the front end so if I get it, it will be getting completely space framed.

Some of you may frown upon it but its either bringing the Z back to life this way or letting it die as its far to gone to do much else to it.

Does anyone know where I can get carbon fibre/fibre glass wings from?

Speak to Craig (Throttleton, on here) I am sure he will be able to help with any fibre glass parts you need.

So I finally have my Z!

She is a 1971 registered in '72. And needs one HELL of a lot of work.

Just uploading some parts now.

I am after:

Front and rear floor pans, sills, wings (preferably fibreglass), doors (again preferably fiberglass), rear quaters and if anyone knows of one a rear fiberglass hatch although mine is in good condition as it is.

Parts I will have for sale are:

240Z engine (I think? How can I check this)
Gearbox which I woulg guess isn't original as the gear leaver doesnt sit perfectly square in the trans hole.
Original 240z seats with excellent foam, just want recovering.

This car will be stripped of all its running gear and interior apart from dash. If you need anything just drop me a pm!
