Long Time no write

Been a very long time since I'v written anything but now I need to get my 260Z up to scratch. I will be visiting more often. I am just thinking out loud on how so many Datsun Z fans want to change so much on their beautiful cars. I have fallen a victim of this. Now I wish I'd had an original spec car.
But bless I have not gone over board. Just; lower valence; Triple 40S Webers; No rear bumper; but I will get hold of a decent one one day. The Harrington one I "tried" to fit would't work. Wider alloy Wheels with spacers. Guess I need them for the added power. Sparco Sports Steering Wheel.

I do think we try to make things special and sporty but the high cost and the amount of failings I see are frustrating. Like change the engine; change the diff; the gearbox the suspension the wheel arches by cutting them "no" please. But then these beauties are ours, its our chose. Have you ever gone to far and thought OMG sod it I want the old car back?

That’s a great looking car. I particularly like that contrasting rear end. I do get what you’re saying. Tastes change.

I have an early BMW 2002 which is almost totally original apart from an upgraded roll bar, a modern stereo and a few small things - all easily reversible. In my eyes to do anything else to it would be sacrilege. Because it looks and does great as it is. I also don’t feel I need that car to make a personal statement or stand out from the crowd any more than it already does.

I do have an RB engined Z which is completely outrageous and unoriginal. But it is tasteful-ish (in my eyes) and totally works. It’s quirky, mad and dangerous. Love it.

Both totally different things and unique in their own way.

That car looks great to me!

I'm a fan of both the pure OEM 240z and the modified resto-mod stuff about. Haven't regretted having a non-standard one, but who knows in the future.

Great looking car! Did you put it up for sale last year? Looks very familiar.

I did . I know I may be going crazy,

Ah so you've owned this one for a number of years? I assumed you were the new owner, as I thought it had sold when I saw the ad which showed the under lighting.
Seems like a fair price for a RHD car, especially with the triples, so I'm sure you'll sell if you actually want to!
