Why remove them if they work ? Sure, dump the emissions stuff and re-tune the carbs because of probably more air intake...

Had a late '73 USA 260Z here which was converted to Euro bumpers - nice car !

Many thanks , it does run very well to be honest , would like to see it in paint this week , with a bit of luck .

Yep (imho) typical mods as per 280Zs - drop and replace the bumpers and lower the car - job done !

And pooh to all the purists (if there are any left today).

Finally . After getting the other paying jobs out of the way the 260 gets its topcoat of 113 green . Prepped and painted by my own fair hand !! uploadfromtaptalk1443719753681.jpguploadfromtaptalk1443719778977.jpguploadfromtaptalk1443719804494.jpguploadfromtaptalk1443719828378.jpguploadfromtaptalk1443719860465.jpg

its been a while but progress made

Its been a few months since my last progress report on the green car , In the mean time i have also bought a silver 260z from the US , and made progress on my other projects , jaguars , tr6 etc .

The paintwork is complete , front and rear bumpers have been modified and all trims / overriders removed and prepped for gloss black . The rear lights are assembled and fitted , seats recovered , some interior work done , windows fitted . Rear spoiler painted satin and re fitted . So hopefully not to far away from MOT and registration . I will post pictures via tapatalk .

Hi Sean , yes it is haha . They are much easier to work on than jags !! We are planning to get to the lemans classic this year , although it may be in a mk 2 ( jaguar ) . So will pop over and say hello to the z owners .
