Darton MID seems to be a liner set that's specific to the engine - e.g. all 6 liners in one solid piece with engine specific bore spacing. but they don't make one for the L engine. So it'll be whatever liners Phil (engine builder) prefers.

I just took the core plugs out of the block, and my measurements look like the cylinder 6 wall is 4mm thick and cylinder 1 is 5mm. So definitely going to need liners.

They are all separate, hence the M for modular and locate with the flats on the deck.

They don't have anything for Datsuns, but they have a section for custom sleeves.
The custom sleeves will require R&D and are probably not cheap, then again neither is a Rebello L35!

Thanks again Mark, that helps. custom sleeves don't seem to be MID as far as I can tell. do you know?
