Looks like we are going to be coming for the day/BBQ on Saturday now (probably not for the gigs though, what with a 3yo and 4mo in tow!) So, me +3.

Oh bladdy hell, that's practically right outside our house Steve, and it only has room for one car 'off-street'!

What time are you getting there?

OK, I have spoken to the council and we are fine. They are just doing the road up to the Engine Inn so we are clear. I would suggest anyone coming in goes via the Anglers Arms LA12 8AJ, then on to LA11 7PF.

Alternatively come in via Cartmel LA11 6PR. Both will keep you clear of the road works.

I have put a welcome pack in Eabank. There is also a list of who is in which room. I have the keys so come and find me at the pub or village hall when you arrive, I will then show you in.

Hi Martin -

Aim to be at the Rose and Crown around 12-12.30pm tomorrow - will anybody be there that early?

Also, re the roadworks, I was going to put in the Rose and Crown's postcode of LA11 7NU. Will that put me into the roadworks?

In which case if I do the Anglers, followed by LA11 7PF as you suggest, does that take me to the Rose and Crown?

Hi guys, sorry, I got sidetracked. The wristbands are free, just ask me when you get here.

As for the postcode just put the Anglers in and then the Rose and Crown. Once you get past the Anglers just take the first left and follow that road. The Rose and Crown is right ahead of you when you get into Cark, you cant miss it. ( I never do)

I did call up yesterday late morning (in the Land Rover sorry), but everyone was either out and about or had cleared off, we did have a chat with Andy Muir though who said what a great weekend he'd had, and Sundy lunchtime roast beef in the Rose and Crown accross the road was lovely too :)

Off topic, but how's the car doing Jonathan?

Funnily enough Rich, I just had an email from Kevin this morning saying "We have stripped engine and checked it over. I have taken crank, block & head for machining. Nothing too seriously wrong but does need a camshaft kit, oil pump etc."

So well on the way now I think, hope to be driving to the Gold Cup at least...
