I don’t know what the going rate is these days but this one seems a little ambitious since I last looked a couple of years ago, worth a sensible offer?

Given that LD's are about £400 complete, you could say hes only about 3.5 times too much?

It's been on eBay at that price, on and off, for what must be over a year now.
You still get the odd L28 on eBay at a decent price every now again, this is not one of them.
I picked up one from a ZX a few months back for £500 with a load of power steering parts for my C210.

It’s a nuts price. 250-450 would be more like it for an unknown quantity that needs a rebuild.
