in the last few days i've noticed a knocking noise coming from the rear when i pull from the lights or accelerate after changing gear. i've disconnected the drive shaft from the wheel hub today and can feel play from where the drive shaft connects to the diff. any ideas what this could be? this is probly gonna be a garage job so would like an idea of what to expect as i can't really afford a major expense at the mo. any advice appreciated.
