Had a good day at Donighton had lots of interest with the zed soon as I arrived at the entrance haha. went z spotting and Found a few more

Unfortunately me and Richard was oposite ends of the stand so club stand maybe for next year

Had good chat with Peter and Steve. good to watch z out

Saw Kev and kristian watched them both doing track time fun watch both you guys but I must say kristian was good at getting it to pop flames out of the samuri.

Got plenty pictures and video. Little mix concert was on next to us aswell from 3pm so they were setting up doing sound tests

Had a really good day today. Good event, good company, good cars. Caught up with Christian and then I spent most of the day with Steve K and Pmac in the pit garage with the Time Attack car. Matt (racer) and John (johnymd) joined us during the day too. Was good catching up with everyone. Steve had a strong day on track; he was more measured in the two morning sessions as he was breaking in new tyres on his second set of wheels. However, the car was working nicely setup-wise. He went down from the 1.29s to 1.27s over those sessions. In the afternoon, on the #1 tyres/wheels things came together in session 3. He did a 1:25.068. He was poised to go faster in the final session but the brakes had had enough; he still managed a 1:26.1 though. So, good stuff and both him and Pete were very pleased with progress.

I didn't spend much time with my car but it and the few other Zs dotted around were getting a lot of attention, as were some of the other retros in the pics above. In the afternoon, I popped back to the car and discovered a note on the windscreen telling me to get over to the live stage five minutes ago. Headed over there to shortly discover that I'd won the Japfest Donington 2017 Show and Shine. Had to go on stage and be interviewed in front of a few hundred people! So a nice little bonus for Z awareness and good given I only gave it a quick once over with the quick detailer on arrival and then buggered off! Got a journo's card as well so will be in contact with him about a potential magazine piece.
