Did anyone do the burn out under the tunnel on the way out,we'll there was an audience each end and everyone else was doing it ,I could see June looking at me in the corner of my eye,( good job it wasn't the other one or I wouldn't have noticed ) so I went for it,brilliant noise very loud, then the comments came flooding in,ie- must be a man thing- you feel better for that don't you - you just had to do it, correct was my answer to that, that's not the end of it,as we were making our exit there were 2 lanes so I got in my lane and as we joined the dual carriageway I floored it like everyone else and the comments came raining down again, like ok you've had your fun,you are like a little boy, very childish ,slow down,do you have to do that, well for most of you women out there that ain't into cars let me just say, most of us men ain't into handbags,so when you drag us out shopping next time and we look bored s-- tless, this is our way of saying ,serves you right for taking me shopping, over all had a great day,met some new Zedders, enjoyed the racing

Had a great day, always nice to put faces and cars to forum names!

Weather not so good, was bloody cold at times.

Longest journey ive been on in the car for many years, she performed faultless tho, with rock solid temp gauge and oil pressure.
Had a small moment in the morning on the way in, a few roundabouts out from Silverstone.
Entered said roundabout and didnt scrub off enough speed, as i went round the back started to slide out,
was progressive tho so no dramas, tad of opposite and on we went:rofl:
Did see an unfortunate young lad with the nose of his car sticking out of the shrubbery to the side of one damp round about first thing:rolleyes:

I'd like to thank Adam (370 Club) and Steve Burns (as usual) for pulling this show together.

It's so often overlooked but if nobody takes the initiative it doesn't happen.

Wasn't there a lot of 350Zs and 370Zs?

I saw a few Z32s but not one Z31.

My input was minimal as just a water carrier with info from the main man who was Adam
Big kudos fella for carrying on from last year when stepping up when no one else wanted to do it
You are a star

....I managed a 1.09.63 and 1.09.06 as my best laps and this was the last 2 of the day. All my laps had a bit of traffic but considering Charles had half my power it shows I've still a lot to learn and will continue to do so.

Yeh looking at your laps John the traffic makes a significant difference. For that lap Charles wouldn't be hindered by much slower cars like you are. Actually it's quite scary watching your video because of the closing speeds.

Cold starting

Hi Rob, nice to have met you yesterday, (Dave with the Blue early 240Z LHD) tried your suggestion about richening the carbs half a turn and it's now starting first turn of the key  so it's not just me that doesn't like the cold weather that we had yesterday, will chat longer next time.

Good news. Easier than 're-mapping' an ECU eh?
