Ok well I'll be arriving as early as they will let me in, to avoid the jams, if I'm stood round like a lemon and help is needed with banners etc just collar me.

I'm planning on getting there at 8:00. That will allow 1 1/2hr to get through the gates. That must be enough time.

The key thing to bear in mind is that the organizers have stated that any display cars not in by 9.30 will be directed to public parking. I suspect this is going to result in the exhibitor queuing kicking off much earlier than previously. The last couple of times I've been I got there around 8.15-8.30 and it was okay-ish. I could imagine this time it could be much worse after 8. Thus, I'm planning to leave Cheshire at 4am to get there around 7-7.30-ish. I'm not driving all that way to stick the Z in the fecking car park and my limited faith in the event organization (plus the restrictive road access to the location) makes me err on the side of caution.

Looks like I'll be in bed around 8pm on Friday!

Hey Folks

I know this is my first post but there is no other way around it :/
and in all fairness I do really love 300zx's!!
Basically a fella was selling me his track time till he pulled out yesterday and sent me back my deposit, which I’m pretty gutted over because I’m dying to get on track.

So long story short, if any of you guys have track time available, late drop outs please do let me know.

But I can hear you asking why this guy? We don’t know him...

Well true, so as a compromise and as a thank you, I will make a short track film dedicated for your club and can do some interviews.
I run film company Wolf Star Pictures (youtube.com/wolfstarpictures), and did Japfest’s 2011 main video with great success.
My car (360hp coupe civic) :driving: will be decorated with Go pro’s and I have 2 camera men track side to give 3rd party perspective.

So even if you have drop outs on the day of japfest, i’ll be there on stand by.
My mob is 07789481589 or drop me a PM :)

Thanks

Costas

I must say, I'm somewhat excited ahead of Saturday to see a Z in the flesh so to speak. Haven't actually ever gotten to see one in person before sadly, so this'll be even more special in my books! A friend's dad will be driving us up (there's me and the friend plus his dad because someone else had to drop out) so we'll probably arrive in a black Jaguar X-Type he owns. Hopefully, I can convince him we have to leave earlier than 8AM so that we can get there before the madness starts so I can spend my time drooling over the cars (and Z's!) arriving.

Hope to see you guys soon! :D

I have decided to give Japfest a miss.....no fun walking around in mud and rain :-( plus I'm now bottle feeding a Lamb....so...I have a car stand pass if anyone wants to collect from Liskeard.

Yeah praying for sun myself. Just hope I can sleep tonight, so excited! Getting up at 05:50 and then over to a friends for 07:00. His dad was going to leave at 8 but I think it might be better if we leave just after 7 from Wimborne. I will probably post again tonight so I'll keep this short since it's hard typing at speed on a phone without everything being near unintelligible.

Same story every year, they predict rain and we get bright sunshine. :D

Just been on the Japfest page it's says £25.00 per person not per car !!!

Our club passes are per car (up to 4 people). Public ticket on the day is £25.
