IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TRACK TIME HOLDERS

Our track time is scheduled for 9:18 with a 8:10 briefing. General public dont get access to Japfest until 9:00 but stand pass holders can enter at 7:00. I reccomend you arrive early and go straight to noise testing, then return to the stand. You can walk over for your briefing (if you miss the 8:10 briefing there should be another one at 8:30), and then drive to the track time staging area at around 9:00.

The Z arena is in area B this year and for those with cars on the stand it entered through gate A which is Camp Entrance and not the main entrance this year
Its good if coming from the east but not so good if coming from the west as you have to drive right past the circuit

Hi Guys,

As nobody with a 240Z lives anywhere near me, I'm wondering if someone would mind me having a good nosey over their's here and taking a few pics of the wiring for reference. (I don't want to take anything apart just what's visual)

Just thought I'd ask rather than start poking a camera under peoples dashes taking random photos without asking! (If anyone has a 73 that would be perfect thanks!)

Cheers,

Wes

Well that's random! Come to Japfest and there will be plenty of 240Zs to take pictures of... :D

That's exactly what I wanted to do. But thought it would be rude to do so without asking!

What's the latest time through the gates as I'm not going to make it by 7:00

Since we are not doing track time I think arriving at 8.30 should be fine for us John. Thats what I've done last 2 years running and its been ok.

If your meeting me at the Nissan HQ in Maple Cross (Junction 17 of M25) then 6.30. You could get here later if we drive with a more devil may care attitude :driving:

It's 140 miles from my place which is around 2 hrs. If I leave mine at 6:00, leave Matt's at 6:15, and get to you at 7:00 then that should be about right?

this is on the assumption that Matt will be up + waiting for you:p

would have loved to convoy from Nissan HQ which is < 5 miles from me but I will not be able to keep up with the velocity of the flying blue zeds ;)

Oh and that includes the Burns 280ZX !

Terry's going to meet us at the m25/a127 roundabout at 6:21. Can we now all sync our alarm clocks as there will be no waiting around for someone to make themselves look pretty for the day.

Darren - do you have the tickets?

Datsfun - your welcome to tag along and see how it goes. We won't be going too fast as we all wish to retain our licences. It will be the generally accepted motorway speed and not above 85. On the other hand we won't be driving at 65 - 70. The choice is yours.
