What do you 'electronic' guys think? New they are about £250.

Anythings fixable, just depends how much time you want to spend tracing through the circuit.

Probably as simple as a blown capacitor. They are normally the main culprit in old electronics. Especially ones in harsh environments. As a rally clock i'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that it has been used in a reasonably harsh environment!

I don't drink much. In fact, if I cant fix it I wouldn't expect to drink anything!
