Mine too. I replaced mine with the original nylon type. I'm not sure if the brass ones are better to use, but I thought with the limited mileage the car does longevity isn't really an issue.
I've done the brass upgrade on my 5 speed and it feels firmer selecting gear but I think any negative aspects would be with the gearbox and not the stick.

New number plates …. Not sure what the consensus is on, so called, cherished numbers, but it’s a bit of fun and the original is still retained.

Fourways also added some door mirrors which make driving a little easier

Plates look great! You're doing everything to the car I would do. Looking forward to seeing the rest. What about the bumpers? Are they fibreglass or painted? Any plans to go chrome?

Thank you
Bumpers are fibreglass. Not intending to change them at present. Thinking about some stripes on the side maybe ….

Having overheated on the way to the Paddington meet, I decided to have the radiator renewed at Fourways Engineering. Awaiting the arrival of a fan pack from the USA C1DCC4EC-145F-4ABF-AA73-2A8BA1B5C04E.jpeg

They will most likely be the factory-fitted HS30-H model Fairlady 240ZG fibreglass 'Overfenders'.

The very best - most accurate - replicas/reproductions of these are made by a company called Marugen Shōkai in Hokkaido, Japan:

Their 'Deluxe' (DX) set is excellent quality, but their 'Special' (SP) set is the very best set on the market and is the version fitted by many original 240ZG owners in Japan when repairing/restoring their cars.

RHD Japan act as sourcing agents for Marugen Shōkai products, and although they spell it 'Marugen Shoukai'it is the same company.
