I've had a few of these cars (25 in the last 5 years) so have a bit of experience with the good, the bad and the ugly. All the cars I have ever bought have been projects. Very very few have been running and nearly all were incomplete. The single most important thing to me is the shell as that is the 1 part your do not want to have to replace. Everything else can easily and cheaply be found at far less money than you would spend on a rotten shell. Usually when you find a car with rust holes it will generally be rusty everywhere (especially where you cant see it) and beyond economical repair. My personal preference would always be a LHD car (which generally have way less rust) and then convert to RHD, as I have with quit a few of my zeds.

Good luck with the search and if you want advice on any then send me a PM
