Images are thumbnail only for non-members?

It appears to be the case that when a non-member tries to access content from zclub.net they are only shown thumbnail images and it isn't possible to access larger versions of the image. Is this a policy decision or an oversight?

I think all the other Z related forums (at least the ones I use) provide full size images to non-members.

You just have to register to see the full size images, not sign up as a full paid member. It's a common thing on forums to save bandwidth.

It's a minor thing but just a shame that it means that you can't just send someone over to the site to have a look through your project thread (for example). Occasionally a friend will ask to look at images of my car so I send them my project link and most of them aren't that into cars or into different types of cars and therefore won't want to create an account (we all have too many of those anyway!).

I'm surprised that network egress charges from web hosts are significant enough to warrant this kind of policy nowadays. I quoted some other common sites in this area that don't enforce this kind of policy - I think it's just the kind of thing people expect nowadays (people viewing websites that is).
