ID on this part

Anyone know what this piece of metal (slightly rusty) is, its by the rear of the sump hiding behind the exhaust for cylinders 4,5 and 6 in the pics, only noticed it today while taking pics of the manifold!




Also, anyone know what my manifold is, i think it looks similar to a janspeed, but i don't believe it actually is one

Part is a heat shield protecting the sump gasket where the exhaust runs close by.
I'd say your manifold looks like the classic Janspeed...
