Horn Relay Circuit

I'm here again!

Tried to understand the Horn relay operation today - I was baffled by the Z circuit diagram, no way would it work! The horn would be sounding permanently.
Looked online and found a Datsun 1200 circuit which would work. Also took the relay cover off for confirmation of an open contact in the inoperative position.

There are so many errors on our circuit diagrams.

That first one won't work either - follow it through. Yes the contacts are shown open but there is no way to operate the relay now.

The second one showing the horn is fine but it's not a normal circuit diagram it's explicit to the horn which obviously the author would understand.

I see what you're saying. The author has made a mistake in the diagram.

Should be as your second diagram from the datsun 1200.

The mistake is, where theyve combined the G, GR, GB together after the components in the diagram.

Nice find. Hopefully nobody will fall foul to it.
