It is Rob, published monthly and nowadays on line for the trade, however Glasses also produce Check Book which gives model relevant info, production years and chassis ranges, it used to be good for spec checking vehicles in the days before the Internet.I'm intrigued to know what info is in the Glasses Guide that dates your car?

The latest date for historic class is a build date of before January '76 so a March '75 registered car surely doesn't need any proof?!
That being so, they will only accept V5's registered no latter than January 1975.
Well no. If your V5 shows a first registered date of March '75 then there's your proof that it was built before January '76. Just take it down to your local Post Office that taxes cars and ask them to change it's taxation class to 'historic'.
