Glad to found this community. My uncle and I are looking at a 1972 240Z as next project. This will be my first time working on a Z and it really excites me. Gonna spend some time reading around here.

Welcome Drakey!

Tell us a little more about your ambitions / skills and plans for a project. What I would consider a project, to some, is just a Sunday afternoon’s work ;).

How much of a project? Ground up resto or something that needs TLC and some parts to make good? Stock, period restomod or full on RB engine swaps etc? Will she be a show car / concourse trailer queen or a car to drive?

Does it have to be a 240 only? Can it be a 260 / 280 also? Does it have to be RHD?

Whatever you’re ambitions you will find history in our archives of someone who has been there before.

In any case, welcome to our Z aquarium where you get to swim with all kinds of fish.

Howdy, AK! If my uncle accepted it, this is going to be a slow build as there are other projects going on. Initial info from him it is only 240, the rest of the details soon when the owner return from a trip.
