All welded together now just a little more work on chassis rail then weld it to the Shell oh and repair the inner wing
Well spotted Rob ,your right the ends of the chassis are normally slimmer on the end which might be something I have to do will see when I trial fit the rad support panel along with the radiator no big deal if they need to be slimmerGood work Derrick and an important area of the car.
I'm intrigued by the chassis legs at the front. Don't they normally narrow to fit around the radiator?
Might it not be worth having a word with Andy Plant in this case? - he sells a full rad support panel. Less hassle than trying to save that patchwork quilt of previous repairs?Next up sorting fad support panel out
Back soon
That's what I was thinking Rich.Might it not be worth having a word with Andy Plant in this case? - he sells a full rad support panel. Less hassle than trying to save that patchwork quilt of previous repairs?

As I think you will be too, I'm considering the structural integrity aspect of that panel. Better to have something made in a form aligned with the factory equivalent with contiguous pieces of metal, versus something that, no matter how tidy the repairs, might not behave as intended in a hard accident...!That's what I was thinking Rich.
Good stuff!Already have
Sure will and it will all be rust free now the air tubes and chassis rails and doglegs have all been replaced with newHey Derrick, that will tie the front end together nicely.
Only this 1 Jonyou must have a big hammer.
