Good to see consistent progress. I know it takes effort to do so because life can be so busy even without projects involved.
Thanks Ian , I do try and get out in the garage most nights even if it only an hour.just to keep chipping away at it all depends on what sort of day I’ve had at work 🤓

Passenger door reskinned tonight yet again went really well considering I’ve only done one before and that was last night 😂just need to get both of them sanded on the outside and then epoxy primed also welded the top corners that just need grinding done 🤓

Both doors completely stripped rust free and now all epoxy primed ready to fit back on the shell so the rear quarter panels can be removed and replaced with new ones :)

Well after a lot of thought and consideration I’ve decided not to finish the welding on the 260z😞

So I’ve decided to put it on a trailer and take it up to North Yorkshire to Andy at APS getting the new rear quarter panels put in new slam panel and anything underneath the slam panel new rear valence rear floor new spare wheel well plus anything else.feeling a little sad I’m not finishing it myself but just struggling with time as doing a few hours a night and possibly 1 day at the weekend it’s just going to drag on and on so it’s now in good hand pics will follow soon 🤓

Thats a bit of a shock, but does it mean you'll have it back and finished this year?

Good move Derrick. No shame in taking the quick route at your stage of life 🤣

I realised that about 18 months ago. Motorbikes now - rusty classic cars are a PITA.

Derrick, a very wise move to let Andy do major work like this. Well done, I know you were enjoying the challenge but this is a big area of the car.
Also timescales will now bring driving it a lot closer.
I know you realuse this but just backing you really.
