I was hoping if anyone with a 260Z could confirm if either of these thermostat housings will fit a 260Z as I am unable to confirm this. I want to sell one as I kept them as spares but would rather know what they fit first. Thanks

I don't understand Mike - if they're off an L engine, they'll fit a 260z. Is the question about which is original equipment on a 260?

My one which I'm assuming was the original, had an outlet that fed the pipe through the inlet manifold, and a single smaller outlet for the temp sender, nothing else. Years ago i managed to get a replacement from Asia somewhere that just has the temp sensor outlet, so no nasty blanking plug as i don't use the inlet manifold connection.

Let the buyers compare with their's Mike. You might get into complications if you state a model.

Jon the water outlet hole to the heated manifold is a different size on both of these and they are quite a bit bigger than what's on a 240Z and I was under the impression that depending on what country the 260Z imported to if there was variations plus I am not sure if they are both for a 260Z as I thought one of them was for a 280Z but I don't think it has enough sensor holes.
Good idea rob.
