hi all,

I have an issue with the rear left hub - just taking it apart to find out what the issue actually is but if anyone is at Le Mans or nearby and can help with a new rear hub assembly it would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks

Rob

You need to find Sean on the Zed club France stand I have no doubt he would be able to help.

Just read on facebook
John Palmer aka Jonnymd comes charging in like Knight in shining armour with his Z parks up next to Crofty's Z and has the rear hub taken off and fitted to Crofty's car so he can take part in the Race
John you make me so proud to know you a true gentleman

So Rob's car appears to be fine now.

I've seen the results for his first 2 races (1 more to come this afternoon) and he is doing really well, in fact very impressively.

There are 0ver 60 cars in his races and Rob has finished 35th and 43rd so far. Don't forget most of these are specialist race machinery not road cars - see pic below of the 'pole sitter'.

Have a look on here at Plateau 6:

Excellent result to race 3 - 30th! And a best lap of 5.10.

Well done Rob, a superb end to the weekend.

So after the 3 races Rob Crofton finished 24th out of 60+ amongst some very quick 'race' cars of the 70s. Well done Rob - respect!

Johnny Palmer if parts of your car were onboard - well done for helping-out.

Yes I can see some had problems but that adds to the achievement IMO. There are some serious entries behind Rob including Le Mans legend Henri Pescarolo!

Rob C rang me, I spoke with John - we bluffed our way through to the magic paddock arear and the rest is history - all credit to John for being a good bloke.

Just proves Steve that participating is what is important - not how - eh ;-)
