Howdy folks.
I‘m new new to the forum. As per tradition with such things I thought it polite to say hi and to (more importantly) share pictures.
I’m a serial restorer and fettler and like to do things right (my wife would agree, but would use different words). I’m fortunate to have a fairly good workspace and a decent selection of tools - which helps.
I first came across a 280ZX as an apprentice and thought it was one of the most fascinating cars I’d ever seen. Ever since the Z was one of of my bucket list cars.
Anyhoo - here’s my main interest - some of you may recognise the reg from the previous owner who I believed may have been a member here?
My son also has a 1978 280Z which came over from California. I am just embarking on replacing everything rubber and reinstating it ready him for next spring. The fuel injection needs a lot of work in particular so that’ll keep me busy over the winter. Lots of little cardboard boxes en route from the US!
Look forward to joining in and making it to some meets next year
