I'm now (finally!) ready to buy a GTO rep

Finally someone who's actually going to do it - bravo ! There have been some for sale over here - cheaper and easier than buying stateside !

Oh goodness - I've put loads of details up on Marks' thread but no-one paid any notice - try searching - you'll find 'em !

I don't suppose that the quality'll be as good as those in the states though !

objet non valide? Most must've been ebay that have finished I think. Getting quotes for importing from states currently (add 27% for duty and VAT :( ) - exciting times ;)

Tricky - would be nice to know a ball park figure from your builder

having seen a few real ferrari gtos in my time and i saw 2 on the weekend at silverstone ferrari 60 year celebration the datsun is still the better looking replica than the 944, the original has a nice sweep on the wings and the rear hatch is more curved ,that the replicas dont have.
smash..
my builder said the same thing £4-5k but without some sort of build manual or dvd to look at he can't give a definate answer

I can think of one reason .......there is not enough decent datsun's left, let alone do a GTO CONVERSION ON THEM

i worryed by the time i get the funds for my gto replica om sportscars would of folded! hes pricing himself out of the market, it a shame as hes got the best gto kit out there, £26k for the kit then about £5-6k for a decent z is pushing it a bit

I find myself still being drawn to the one at GT International - soon manage to snap out of it every time I remember it went for £10K on ebay, half what they're now asking for it.

One day I'll get my new toy....:(

Just to cheer myself up I managed to find another photo of the rear of the Porkari GTO just for TCH911...

As this seems to be a general GTO body kit thread....this maybe worth a little bit of interest...
