Dont - please this is difficult enough as it is. The car is fantastic and I love it to bits, I must have done 1000 miles since Christmas and enjoyed every one - the stories I could tell!!!! Boring day to day live means I need a more reliable car for the family and the wife wants a Range Rover... It hurts so much but I think it may have to go, although I must admit to being still in two minds. Price - well the car was an absolute bargain when I bought it, especially now I have seen the level of detail that has gone into the build and it has loosened up nicely after its layup but ....Stop / No / Yes ARRRgh I dont know...:conf2: :conf2:

A Range Rover? Pah!!!

Can I ask what body work it needs and whether you sorted any of the issues you mentioned further back down the thread?

It doesnt need any bodywork to be usable, I have proven that, but to be perfect then the tailgate has a few paint bubbles, the drivers door doesnt fit well, Interior is a bit tatty but no terrible rips / tears. I really havent done anything to it but drive it since I got it, it was / still may be a rolling restoration over the summer. Somebody supposed to be coming down to see it tonight (if they turn up), so need to find my excuse to back out now....

Just had my ebay listing removed as Ferrari (Italy) have complained that it infringes their trademark......I may get prosecuted.....What a joke. So any ideas on how I can get this listed again without infringing the trademark eg. 'This is not a Ferrari Replica', and ink out the logos on the pictures?, say its a morris minor, say it resembles some sort of 60s sports car.....

What a load of bollocks!! I've seen this happen before. How come the bloke you bought it off didn't get the ad yanked? (you don't think he would be that malicious cos you've cleaned it up and put it up a little higher?). Wasn't one of the other cars in this thread pulled for infringement? The 4K one?

I notice all the replica's (mostly 355s) have been cleared out of the Ferrari section so they've had a purge.

Not sure how you should word it but best to blur those mahoosive yellow logos on the wings - bummer.

Oh lordy! OM Sportscars have stuck an updated price list on their website today - potential GTZ ownership just got a tad more expensive!

Biggest change is the turnkey pricing which is £29,500 provided YOU SUPPLY THE CAR!! Jeez, you can buy a brand new DAX Cobra turnkey for £2000 less than that all SVA'd and all new parts apart from recon jag back end.

Also notice that on the US Hybridz site a few people are trying to get response from OM for parts for their builds and are being hit by a wall of silence. Not good.

Maybe it's time for someone to make up a complete grp shell and adapt to fit an existing kitcar chassis. (save on development and manufacturing). Ironically a cobra's wheelbase and track is nigh on identical to the Z....now there's an idea.!! Take one DAX chassis....

I'm now (finally!) ready to buy a GTO rep - have placed a wanted ad but I'm not too optomistic as I really want a door lock (trunk would be nice) converted car (I know, I know). Looking at importing from stateside as alternative.

Cheers Tricky - was looking for a finished one, just haven't got build facilities where I am, although....£800 is cheap - wonder how much it would cost to have built (obviously not by OM - they're now asking £29,500 to do full interior exterior conversion on customer supplied car!).

Sold my cobra today so the hunt is on!
