i went to a kit car show this weekend, i am really disapointed in om sportscars not being there again, hes missed all this years kit shows. hes the one that bought the scorpionz kits from usa and now makes them here.
he advertises in kit mags but if he doesn't show any, hows he going to sell any, this is the most correct kit out there!

Blimey! Good to see this thread still bubbling along. Also see OEM's finally built a demonstrator. not quite up to their website gallery examples...

Gave up on the GTO search in the end and bought this instead - nothing like trying to explain what it is on a petrol forecourt!

is that a UVA forget the rest of the name.....I knew someone that had one back in the 90's...was really fast but kept cracking the frame that held the engine....big v8 in it I think. Always wanted a silver one. Nice!

Holy moly! Where did that come from? This Ferrari 330 P4 replica is based on a car that only ever had 4 production models (which still exist apparently for around $10m each if you have the spare cash lying around). In 1967 this badboy came 1st, 2nd & 3rd at Le Mans (with the first 2 cars crossing the finish line at the same time) finally beating the awesome GT40. What car is underneath the skin of this lovely looking machine? The original had a 3.3 litre v12 (which would've sounded like hell was caving in) so what is it under there now?

Superb!

And we had one (maybe this one) at the SEKZ meeting last Sunday, along with various Cobras, a Mustang and an early Pontiac GTO.

I 'raced' one last Novemeber in the rain - guy was taking it VERY easily :

Great choice - fabulous car and better than a GTO 'cos no-one's likely to come up and say 'that's a Datsun copy innit ?' !

twoforty - you're thinking of a UVA Montage I think - similar kind of thing but that was based on the Mclaren M6.

It was indeed at the SEKZ meet - technically the other guys there would've called it the S E and Kent cobra club meet but there you go!

It's a Noble 330 P4 replica (the Foreman came later and is a bit different). No Renault V6 I'm afraid - although they sound very nice they're a bit short on power even in turbo form - this car was built by one of Terry Drury Racings mechanics. TDR used to prepare a lot of the works cars for European World Rally championships back in the Cosworth glory days so it's no surprise then that this thing has a nicely prepared and somewhat expensive YB cossie turbo in it. With the boost cranked up I can get about 500bhp/ton power to weight - it's seriously quick! There's no bloody room inside and the aircon fights a losing battle in hte summer - it would take a madman to drag it across to Le Mans for the Classic......which is exactly what I'll be doing this year! ;)

Sean that one you raced is a Costa I think - the panels on those have been reshaped somewhat from the P4 but still a stunning thing on the road.

That is awesome! You MUST post more photos! Shame about the lack of a 250 though :)
