heater valve cock rebuild

hi all Zeders happy new year . has any one rebuild a heater valve cock ? got it all to bits so any tips on the rebuild ie what to lub the rubber seals with and do you use any sealant ? also can you get the pipes anymore . thinking off making one out of copper pipe thanks chris

I remade the pipes on mine, but used 16mm stainless tube, I was a bit concerned that 15mm copper would end up leaking without a good barb to grip the rubber hoses.

hi was going to use copper with those gland things soldered on to stop the pipe moving . took the thing all apart yesterday and it looks as if its only a tap type washer so will try and see what happends .before spending £53 thanks for the repley chris
