Headlight stalk

Today I went to the garage to find the dash all lit up. (This was a nice surprise)

However when I switched them off and on again......nothing. But if I give the switch a little wiggle, on they come, this is the same on side and main lights.

Does this mean the stalk/switch has had it or some other king of resistance/wiring issue.
There is a little play in the switch but not much.

Thanks again.

Probably the contacts inside the switch need cleaning because of the high current that flows through it.

I think the rear lights are on the same circuit as the dash lights, so if it is the switch, both could be off. If I remember correctly.

The rears have no bulbs in, I'm just shopping on ebay to buy some LED ones. The ones I put in the dash seem nice and bright!

Thanks though!

I had the same problem, filled the switch up with WD40, worked the switch lots of times and it worked fine and still does after 2 years
