Sorry no direct experience. I have looked into it and viewed a lot of youtube videos, i did message them asking for a UK supplier but didn't hear anything. You may need to reinforce the area the posts fit onto, to ensure it can take the load safely. They provide all the info on their site.

They've been available on eBay before. Lot's of discussion about them over on the Garage Journal, I think they even did a group buy a few years ago.

20 ft wide, so this lift is just under 10 ft IIRC so for me it would work.

yeah, that would be comfortable.

I need at least 7 or 8 ft clear on the other side to get stuff through the garage into the garden and vice versa.

For a fully restored car that’s had an auto Electrition go through it an replace all the gauges, it still sounds like it needs quit a bit. I think this is one you really need to look at. Oh but no you can’t as he won’t let you. Lots of contradictions.

May still be ok but you would absolutely need to see it and check with dvla that you can register a car with salvage tittle. I didn’t think you could which may be why he has had it sitting for so long.
