You can tell climate change is true, the politicians are denying it.
I don't think I've come across many politicians denying it & why would they? This is after all one huge big lie that enables them to tax the crap out of us & remove all our rights, and that's all it is. Climate change has always been happening since the planet began, where as man made climate change is a BS agenda called Agenda 21, now updated to Agenda 2030(which can be downloaded from the UN website), and is nothing more than a plan by the elites & 'A' holes to remove all our rights and make life on this planet sh1t. How will making a reduction in 4% (That's just how much co2 mankind produces of the planets total co2, and of which the UK is only 0.4 percent) of the planets co2 by removing cars etc from the planet change anything apart from messing up our daily lives. Termites produce more co2 than mankind(should we kill all the termites?) . Plants thrive on co2. Co2 is not a problem, the elites, the media & whinging ill informed sjw's are the problem.

All that dressing up is BS - if they want to live in the past then charge £5 to enter and only allow race cars with a Transit van as support!

I can remember go to British GPs that cost £15 on race-day.

I paid £2.80 to see Black Sabbath, plus support by Van Halen back in 78. Those old tickets are now selling on ebay for over £25 EXTRA;) Wish I'd kept all my old bus tickets and dinner tickets now, I'd be worth a fortune EXTRA:D :EXTRAlol:

Yep. And the moon landings were faked too.

I'm not the climate scientist, but I belive it goes something like this:
Post industrial humanity has increased co2 in the atmosphere by something like 40%. This will cause the mean temp to rise by what, 2 or 3 degrees. Which will mean that less co2 can be dissolved in the oceans which will increase the amount of co2 in the atmosphere. Which melts ice caps. Which warms the planet. Which warms the oceans. Which releases methane. Etc.

Being certain of the timing is difficult.
Maybe it doesn't matter if our species survives but I believe the genuine scientists I hear and read this from. (not the UN)

We could have a little bet - if I'm right, by the time we die, human life on earth will be doomed, if you're right, I'll give you a fiver in my will :)

Sorry I didn't realise you came from the Al Gore school of climate change. But worry not as according to that theory we are all under water now and the polar bears have all gone so no need to worry about being eaten alive while you bob about in an ocean of melted ice caps.
I've got to admit I find it pretty hilarious that the climate change propagandists poster girl is Greta Thunberg, a girl of 16 who can see co2. Maybe she can see the winning numbers for next weeks lotto as well :EXTRAlol:
Climate change is mostly controlled by the sun, just how much tax are you willing to pay to solve that? What are you going to do about it? No doubt some idiot will say block out the sun to stop climate change. Oh sorry those scientists you refer to have already suggested doing that. ;)

I'll tell you what, let's up the ante a little. Let's play for Z's  Then again thinking about it, if you really believe what you're saying then surely you wouldn't be driving round in that horrid polluting monster of a 260Z anymore, so just hand it over right now :EXTRAlol::p

And if those media types are still telling you to save those drowning & soon to be extinct polar bears, fear not, the polar bear population is on the increase

Oh and I wouldn't know anything about spacemen :leaving:

I started the thread and off topic is fine by me so long as entertaining.
Definitely the most interesting posts on here today (although the latest Sean v Albrecht ping pong game a close second) so carry on :D

I don't know much about climate change but I've just checked the weather forecast for Goodwood and it's going to be dry, hot and sunny this weekend so that will do for me
The weather really makes or breaks these type of events.

Oh dear do you also feel a little flushed?

I wouldn't worry about it. As Chris points out, not much else going on round here today ;)
