Gallery pics

Just wondered whether it would be possible to put the latest uploaded pics first in the gallery. Before I put my pics in there I thought the galleries hadn't changed for ages because the first page never changes <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

Hi,

The trouble with the gallery is &nbsp;

a) I don't know what version we're running and if we are out of date first step is an upgrade.

b) I don't have ANY admin access whatsoever so I'm stuck a bit.

c) If we move to vBulletin spending time fixing now would be a waste of time.

d) The system runs alphabetically, which imo is wrong, i.e. pic one is called aaa, pic two is aab, its just wrong all round, I dunno why the guy coded it that way so if it doesn't offer a reverse chronological order it will be hard for me to change it because (read c).

I totally agree, I didn't spot new pics either, I think your idea is sound and when we get vB there are lots of cool options, for instance the front page can load random pics, new pics, the gallery fronts can show new pics, oh its a joyous thing to be using vB.

I hope I don't overpraise it and then things go horribly wrong!

Good idea though, time for my pills.

I've got a couple of pictures I'd like to post in the Gallery. I've done it before but forgotten how and it's not obvious to an old git like me!

I think, the click the MY Z album, then at the top it says
"add photos"
And that should do it.

was the gallery 'fixed' last time, or just edited manually last time so that new pics came first? just asking because my new gallery pics are now last again &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

hi there what I have now done is sorted the gallery so that it shows the latest additions first working back to the oldest . I will have a look and see if the gallery has a prob and if so hand it to the site gods. sorry for any inconvienience . normal service will resume as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience &nbsp;ben
