Fuel Level Sender - Resistance Range

Hello,

I am looking to change the fuel gauge for an Autometer version and wanted to know if any one knows the Fuel Sender resistance range from empty to full?

Thanks!

The attached might be of use:

It states

90 ohms=empty, 10 ohms=full. Datsun works backwards from most other senders

Thanks grb184,

I've seen that article, just wanted to get a second opinion from a member of this forum to verify.
Autometer offers 0-90 which is the wrong way round, but they also offer a 73-0 which is the right way round, but the gauge will read Full for a longer period of time.

Interestingly, the gauge markings are not linear, so I guess that may work....

If all else fails go to 'SPIYDA'. They are an English firm who make a little box of electronics that you wire between the sender and the gauge. It allows you to adjust the settings so the gauge will read accurately across its range. It even allows you to adjust the 'damping affect' so the gauge doesn't jump up and down whilst your driving.
