Not sure how you kept a straight face answering this question :EXTRAlol:

Why?

Perfectly fair and logical question, in my opinion. One has to take account of people - like yourself - who are not very well informed as to the nuances of such nomenclature.

Of course, you're right My Count, as always Lord....and it was complicated.

I'm just surprised you didn't elucidate upon the 'stick' shape differences for a bonus of 10.:hurray:

The numbers stamped on the bellhousing don't usually mean much in terms of identification. Unless you already have data on what you've bought, you would need to take the case apart and count the gear & countergear teeth in order to ascertain whether it is an Option 1, Option 2, Option 3 or 'Rally' Option version.

Parts are few and far between. I have two of these gearboxes and some NOS spare parts, but probably nothing that you will need in the way of service parts (synchro rings?). What do you need?

Hello, Thanks for your reply. I'm looking for 1st gear synchros and a reverse gear set, especially the reverse idler gear. Would you have any of that? Would you have a list of what gears you have and how much you would sell them for? I'm located in Ontario, Canada. Not sure where you are.

I wouldn't want to start splitting up my parts kit, as they are in reserve for my own transmissions. Sorry.

Reverse idler gear (straight cut) should be the same as in the Warner-synchro B type transmissions, so fairly easy to source. Even a good used one.

Have you tried Stewart Wilkins Motorsport in Australia? They carry the Servo type synchros and other spares Here

Thanks for your reply. I actually have an order from Stewart which is on its way, but he didn't even have a reverse idler gear that was good. The one he had has some chips in it. Unfortunately, I have scoured the world for this gear. Hopefully the one he sends me is not too bad. I will try to hunt around with the information you supplied. Thank you very much again and for all your help.

Just for info here is a link to the idler you should need, I purchased one about 2 years ago:
