Front towing eye

Yes, well, I guess someone would (nice spoiler cut-out to get it to fit....) although why they'd fit that pond-linder on the front of a beautiful car - well, I'm stumped - certainly worried about the ex-seatbelt flapping around against the painted surface.:D
Thank you.

Looks good - how would it work with a front spoiler fitted and/or towing up at an angle onto a trailer or breakdown truck ?

For general info, mine'll be available again in late March, ready for the de-confinement dayZ.....

It's not for use with a front spoiler but it is designed for being winched into my trailer. I may well fit a spoiler later and would have to re-think it then.

You're all lucky ; over here and many other countries, nothing is allowed to protrude from the stock bodywork whether it be lengthwise or horizontal.....whichj I why I made mine to be bolt on only when needed.

Did you say it’s March next year when you get stock Sean?

Hi Graeme.

I have finished my prototypes (front and rear) and shipped off to the manufacturer this week. I aim to produce at least two versions of the removeable type and perhaps a fixed version depending upon demand :

Removeable in stainless-steel
Removeable in power-coated satin black

Possibly fixed and therefore perhaps in s-steel and mat black as above.

Prices will be competitive against those parts found in the States.

That’s great - good to know. Add me to your buyer list. Powder coat one I think.

What other products you got in the pipeline Sean?

Hiya. I don't have them finished yet - so much going on. Bu a pair of towing straps off ebay ?https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351338094227?hash=item51cd61de93:g:zCkAAOSwq5dcYC7v

He's got the main exhaust line from the standard 240z manifold to the rear silencer up next, isn't that right Sean :D

Yessir and the twin centre exit pipes then a revamped 280ZX line and muffler choice and some lovely trinkets - wait and see.

Thread bump…. I’m now in the position having fitted a spoiler to the front to rethink a towing eye. Shipping from the states seems ridiculous for a flat piece of metal. What’s my options? Did Sean ever make these?

I used a nylon/fabric strap through the opening for the radiator air.

I think the issue is that if you use a strap bolted to the chassis that it might cause damage to the car where it passes through the bodywork. Whereas the metal eyelet would already be clear of the body.

Yes ok but it has a spoiler so that makes things difficult. Hopefully it would never be used anyway.

My 'strap' was on my trackday car.
