You've made a brilliant job of this car

Now I know that these fetch quite a bit of dosh when sold but what do you do when the buyer asks what it was like before it was sprayed? Show him/her the photos?

I reckon it's a dilemma for a lot of restorers.

I doubt if there are any 30 year old Mk2's without some sort of welded repair work done at some stage. I think its good to show what has been repaired/placed and most importantly how it was done. This restoration has generated over 1000 photos which my client will be given copies of on completion and i would leave the decision to him :)

Given the detail of all the work it wouldn't put me off........at least its not full of plop.

Had this conversation with someone earlier re my S1 E type which has basically had everything replaced bar the roof and bulkhead. Unless its a CA car in original condition its the only way to go

100% agree with that. A detailed record of the build process is invaluable with regards to sell on value never mind personal satisfaction.
The other thing to remember is when all cars are first built they aren't built to be the best in the world especially fords and datsuns so a rebuild of this calibre has probably resulted in a better product than the original!!
As Pete would say IMO. IMO.IMO.

Well, the RS had to go back to the bodyshop for some rework to the the paint work but is now back and things are really coming together.
