for sales list

Hi Russ
any chance on the new revised site you are working on that when you click on the for sale button the lists come up in date order and not as they come up at the moment
if you have a look at the listing we used to average 1500 views of the lists but the last months list appeared in the middle date wise and was only viewed 500 times and this months list is also in the middle
just wondering if the adhoc way that ikonboard is entering the mothly meeting confuses people viewing the lists and was the cause of the drastic drop in views

Postnuke is horrid but the new for sale list I'll write a little database php page so we can add for sale lists from the admin page and it will be added to a new forsale table in the database, each time one gets added it gets a new id number (autoincrementing), then the page simply says show in reverse order

How about marking them sold and links to photos too?

People don't let you know when their stuff has sold. Thats why we have the rolling 3 issue advert.

Adding photo's is going to make my job more time consuming.
I think it's fair to say that if someone is capable of sending me a photo, then they should be able to send that photo to anyone. All they need to do is put "photo can be emailed on request" in the advert.
