Fidanza flywheel bolts

for my stroker engine build I have used a fidanza Ali flywheel. I supplied the engine builder with arp flywheel bolts but he returned them saying they were too short and he wasn’t comfortable using them. He suggested I find a longer bolt. After a bit of digging I find that skyline bolts are around 6mm longer which is roughly the difference in flywheel thickness so ordered a set. It then occurred to me that I am bolting softer aluminium so should I also use a hardened washer to spread the load a little.

I can’t be the first to consider this so what’s the accepted solution. I’d quit like my flywheel to stay attached to the crank when I’m thrashing it round a track so what to find a solution I’m happy with.

I wouldn't think you need hardened washers. It's not like it takes a pounding like the valve seats.
