Just wanted to share for those thinking of a flywheel purchase.

I am running this flywheel and have been very happy with it for several years. Great for the track and for the street on a L series engine.

Best price that I have seen in many years and free shipping on top of that (probably not the UK but you can ask).

I've used the Fidanza flywheel before, nice bit of kit BUT I did wear out the friction surface quite fast with a high performance paddle clutch. So would only recommend them if using with a relatively stock clutch...

Personally I'd go with the one Sean has posted.

I've run that since 2006 on a paddle clutch plate with a stroker and I've driven hard - no problems - even the clutch plate was like new !

By paddle clutch are you referring the the hockey puck style????

Yes I had a 4 paddle one on my fidanza and it got an absolute beating in my 4wd 400hp Golf.

The clutch out lasted the flywheel though...

I'm running the same paddle I bought in 2010 in my 1jz car. I swapped to a normal clutch as I couldn't get used to it but after going through 3 standard clutches I went back to my original paddle.

lighten and balance the standard flywheel, that'd be a cost effective option.

Yes it is, not expensive either but the original didn't last more than 4k miles.

Yeah...by only 25% maximum but still spinning around very old cast iron nearby your goolies.
