Having thrashed around that track (in someone else's car ) I can honestly say that pit lane is a very daft design and bloomin scary!!!

Having driven that track, yea, its a stupid arrangement with a removable chicane that spits you out right next to the pit entrance, so if the Jag decides to lift and got to the pits, then the Merc is at the same time, on the same line, back hard on the power..
the chicane consists of some tall walls, so you can see past/over them nor cut them like with normal curbs.
maybe they should reverse the chicane so you get spit out away from the pit entrance?
