Exhaust manifold flange studs

Does anyone happen to know the thread used on studs in the exit flange of the exhaust manifold? Mine doesn't have any!

M8 x 1.25 both ends.Plenty in stock!

b*gger, I think mine is knackered then! I tried some M8 bolts and they were loose

It looks like I will be upgrading to M9 at some point soon. Cheers for the info Mike. By the way, my bits were delivered today, thanks!

I think that is quite common, and norm is to replace with m10.
The one nearest the bulkhead went on mine.

Yes, now you mention it M10 would probably be a safer bet actually! I might just be lazy and weld some studs in from the back of the flange for the time being and see how long they hold for.

That sounds drastic! It only took me 10 mins to tap it out to m10 and put the new stud in.
