ENGINE PROBLEM.....

HELLO AGAIN,

WHEN I SLOW DOWN TO STOP, THE RPM DIAL GOES ALL THE WAY DOWN,AND THEN MY ENGINE SHUTS DOWN BY ITSELF. VERY EMBARRASING WHEN I'M RACING SOMEONE........CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT CAUSE THIS DILEMMA TO HAPPEN?............

Hi,
&nbsp;Sounds like the 'TPS'...throttle position sensor.Try cleaning the contacts on the wiring connector.

I DON'T HAVE A MANUAL WITH ME YET, ORDERED ONE A WEEK AGO....CAN YOPU TELL ME WHERE THE TPS IS LOCATED?

Hi,
&nbsp;If I remember correctly the TPS is a black box at the top of the engine ,at the side where the left hand air intake pipe joins to the alloy intake phlenum.(right hand side looking at the engine from the front of car... where the air pipe connects to the shiny alloy bit&#33<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
