Engine keeps cutting out

Thought I would update the post in case it helps anyone else in the future. I have discovered that my electronic ignition control module is faulty and this apparently is causing the issue. The car runs fine for 15 minutes or so and only has problems when it's hot.

I'll change that part and see if it solves the problem. I am finding it hard to find a module. Does anyone here know where to get one from?

Sorry just seen this, I’ve had the exact same issue except my car would run for a little longer, maybe 45minutes before it would cut out. Leave it 10 minutes and it would start back up. I’ve changed the ignition module and that seems to of resolved the problem with it cutting out.

Where did you buy your module from? One of the members sent me a link to a company in USA but I have discovered that someone has replaced the stock distributor in my 280z with a 280zx one so I need a control module for a 280zx distributor. Is there a company in the UK that sell these?
