Engine cut out and not restarting untill cold

Does any one know the problem with my 94 300zx tt UK spec
its done 49000 miles and has just had cam belt and some other bits changed.

Sunday just gone very hot driving up to London from margate got 40 miles out pulled in to services to get a drink, just as I pulled to the top of the slip road the engine just cut out.
And it did not start again untill it was cold and started fine?
Has any body got any idear's.

maybe PTU needs replacing?
word of warning dont buy a replacement from the uk,buy at courtesey in usa
STANDARD PTU'S WILL FAIL IN UK!EVEN IF YOU BUY NEW IN THE UK THEY ARE STILL THE RECALLED VERSION IN USA

Trignition (PTU) units fail for a variety of reasons but Z32 owners should be aware that they can inadvertently abuse them causing later failure. Leaving the ignition on while you are doing other work with the engine not running is a prime cause. Electrical trauma to the car may be another, e.g. fast charging with the battery still connected and bad practice during jump starting may also affect sensitive electrical components.
The UK available part number is three supercession numbers on from the original part, perhaps indicating that some improvements have been made (not necessarily so). To my knowledge the USA supercession improvement is double the cost of the original....
