Anybody used this stuff? Looks like an interesting alternative to re-plating which can just oxidise again.

Looks great in the pictures, but i doubt its as damage/scratch resistant as proper plated stuff, if your worried about stuff oxidising, you could just clear coat everything after plating.

Yes I have used it. It’s not really that great. Great for a show car you don’t use. Not so good if you want to use the car. Plus finish can be very variable.

I would spend the money getting the bits properly plated such as gold zinc coating for example.

A number on here have had all the bolts, washers, nuts replated for not a lot of money relatively. This might be nice for doing the odd bit in your own garage, but if I was having the whole car's hardware done (or most of it) I'd be getting it done professionally.
