Donnington Historic & Japfest 2017

They have a campsite right next to the track, I tried it in 2015. Bought myself a brand new tent & sleeping bag just for the event and woke up in the early hours of the morning with everything floating about in the tent and everything soaking wet:smash
Last year I stayed at a place that Steve Burns put me onto. It was fine and Steve and a few of the other guys also stayed at the place. I'll book the same place again for this year if they ain't booked out already. Cedars Hotel, Loughborough. Maybe we could fill the place with Zedders
Sounds like the weather is as temperate as it is at Le Mans! lol
I'll look into details and see what I'm going to do for the weekend. Assuming I'm doing the Saturday/Sunday it makes sense to stay in the same place if we can get a load of Z's together would be nice and social
Just a bloody headache Jake,my lot are too loud,just got meself a couple of Markbass cabs,800 watts each,but as they say,if it's too loud you're too old,I will get a ticket for the Sunday and play it by ear,doing my head gasket in a couple of weeks,should only take about a day then off to the painters if I can get it in to have a couple of stone chips done before I possibly sell it for forty grand
I did get two ninja 800 watt cabs had them turned upwards with my amp and effects case on top,great powerful sound but after the first three gigs I had to dash to the bog at the end of the night so I swopped one of em for a 4x10 so now it won't be as high,using them both tonight for the first time, ( toilet paper in hand ) I hit the strings properly,not like a lot of these bass players that fart **** about and just tickle em

Decided I'll do both Saturday and Sunday to support the club stand.

Woody just to put a damper on your stay at the Cedars Hotel both me and Paul Wrangle have booked in there for the Thurs/Friday and Sat nights
