i have a '74 260z but with the 280zx distributor. it's running a little rough & i think the timing is out and i'm gonna get it checked. but can anyone tell me what the timing / advance should be? or is it all done with a strobe light?. and does the setting alter the spark plug gap? i tried today to get the number on the side of the dizzy but could'nt make it out, but it's the one with the E12-80 module. + is it always true that the rev counter won't work with this upgrade as ive looked on other forums, especially in the u.s and it always seems to be the case.
