Datsun 280 zx coolant in footwell

Hi all...new here. I have a 280ZX and there is cooland under the carpet drivers side footwell. Can anyone shed a light on this please.

leaking heater matrix ?? or one of the pipes going to it

Only way for coolant to get there is out of the matrix or inlet pipes mate

There is a heater valve right under there, hopefully it's just that that's failed. You can tell quite easily if it is that as you'll probably notice it's gone green where water has been escaping.

Leaking heater matrix is also a possibility, also perished pipe. You wont know until you get under with a good torch.
